This weekend, the 24th and 25th August, the Southbank Centre in London is holding a quintessential village fair which will host the likes of traditional games and crafts. The Southbank want to bring the community together and share their passions or creation and craft - and what a great way to go about it! The Southbank Centre has invited craft bloggers from across the UK to hold a virtual stall on their blogs over the weekend of the fair. The grid below is our very own tutorial stall, it contains 12 different tutorials from the all the craft bloggers taking part this weekend. There are some really lovely things, so please go and enjoy! All the links are numbered below. Kate will be our Southern representative this weekend and will be at the Southbank on Sunday, so if you are in the area go and say hi!
As well as taking part in the virtual tutorial stall, TWB has decided to holds it's own stall on our blog. We will be selling items from three of our favourites DIYs for you guys to get your hands on. This is a very important project for us as all the money we raise from selling our items will be given to people very close to our heart who are doing amazing things for charity. Half of the money we raise will go to Olivia Lowden who is running a half marathon for Cancer Research UK in memory of our good friend Alexis Peadon. And the other half will be donated to Kate's sister, Claire Macdougall who is also running a half marathon for Cancer Research UK. Both girls are doing such amazing things (I know I couldn't run 13 miles!!) and your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
To buy one (or more) of items, here is what you have to do:
1. Pick what you would like to buy and make a note of what colour/style you want it to be and read the T&Cs at the bottom of the post.
2. Head to the relevant JustGiving page (links will be under each item) and donate the relevant amount. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE YOUR NAME AND A COMMENT MENTIONING TWB WHEN YOU DONATE.
If you don't do this we won't know if you have paid and consequently won't be able to send you your item.
3. Drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know what you want, your address, your name, and that you have donated.
And you're done! We will send you your item in the post, and don't worry, postage is on us :)
